In India, hydroxychloroquine can be used to treat coronary hypertensive cases. The suggestion was given by the National Task Force for COVID-19 from the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). This drug is mainly used for the treatment of malaria.

According to the advisory, the drug may be given to a healthcare worker who is involved in the service of suspected or confirmed COVID-19 cases. In addition, the family of confirmed cases in the lab are advised to give this medicine. US President Donald Trump also suggested the name of the drug.

This drug is used to cure malaria. Coronavirus antidotes have not been detected so far, in the meantime, research has shown that this drug may help cure coronavirus. Chloroquine phosphate and hydroxychlorine sulfate have been found to be helpful in the treatment of coronas in various studies, reports.

The Food and Drug Administration in the United States is importing this drug. China's Health Department also said in February that the use of chloroquine phosphate has produced good results. However, he also said with ICMR's director general that hydroxychloroquine is only for healthcare workers treating patients affected by Covid-19 at home.
