Gwalior is the ancestral palace of Jyotiraditya Scindia. His name is Jayvilas Palace. The beauty of this palace is famous all over the country.

Jyotiraditya Scindia is the son-in-law of Gujarat. Vadodara's self. Jyotiraditya has married Priyadarshini, daughter of the third son of Rajiv Pratap Singh Gaikwad.

Spread over 12,40,771 sq ft, the palace of the Scindia Gharana was constructed in 1874 by Jivajirao Scindia. Its design was entrusted to the French architect Sir Michael Philos. At that time it was estimated at around one crore rupees. At present, it is estimated to cost more than Rs 10,000 crore. The palace has 400 rooms.

The Palace has some of the world's rarest items as well as a gold polish on the walls. The museum has now been erected in 40 rooms in the Jay Villas Palace in Gwalior. In this magnificent museum a railing of stairs, dollies, buggies and staircases at the base of the glass have been put on display.

The Darbar Hall Palace is the most important place. The hall is 100 feet long, 50 feet wide and 41 feet high. The biggest feature of this palace is the two chandeliers weighing seven to seven tons installed in its court hall. One of the most overweight jammers in the world.

Before installing it, the architect placed 10 elephants on the roof for seven days to measure the strength of the palace roof. It is said that a small silver train has been kept in the dining hall of the palace to serve food. Many such attractive things add to the beauty of the palace.

On the walls inside the palace there will be glimpses of maps and artifacts from many countries. The properties of Scindia Gharana include Jay Villas Palace in Gwalior, Sindia Villa in Delhi, and properties other than Gwalior House.

Jivajirao, ruler of the Scindia dynasty, became the Maharaja of Gwalior at the age of eight. When he was young, English ruler Edward had a program to come to India. Jivaji Maharaj invited Edward to come to Gwalior. He was planning to build the Jyvilas Palace for his reception.
