New Delhi, Mar 29, 2020, Sunday

Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi has written a letter to PM Modi in support of the fight against Corona. He has also made some suggestions to PM Modi.

Rahul Gandhi, in a letter to PM Modi, said that instead of a complete lockdown in the country, some steps need to be taken in the interest of the poor. The poor are suffering in the country after the lockdown. Millions of people gathered in Delhi on Saturday evening. People are going home on foot.

Rahul wrote in the letter that the Modi government should consider that a nationwide lockdown would affect the people and the economy. India has a different case than the world. There are other types of steps we must take. The number of poor in the country is huge. Those who are earning a living every day. Full lockdown will have a very bad impact on our economy and increase the death toll.

"Our priority should be to isolate the households and those at high risk first," he said. Millions of people live in villages. The virus can spread to the villages as people spread from cities to villages. The government has made economic announcements that should be implemented as soon as possible. So that people can get help. The government also needs to provide bed and ventilator in a large number of hospitals.
