One more curative petition in Supreme Court against Ram temple construction

New Delhi, Mar 6, 2020, Friday

While preparations for the construction of the temple in Ayodhya are underway after the Supreme Court ruled that the Ram temple is underway, a petition has now been filed with the Popular Front of India to stop the construction of the temple in the Supreme Court.

The petition states that when Ram Janmabhoomi's case took place, the organization was not a party to the Muslim party. This has affected our interest in the Supreme Court verdict.

In the petition, the organization has demanded that the case be heard in open court. Simultaneously, the Supreme Court also stayed the judgment of November 9, 2019, which ordered the construction of a temple on disputed land.

This is the second curative petition filed in the Supreme Court. A petition has previously been filed by an organization called the Peace Party of UP.
