Muslim youths have been wearing a night watch to protect Hindu families for five days

Muslims were protected by 13 Hindu families living here and their temples when flames of violence erupted in Mustafabad, north-east Delhi.

Still, Muslim youths are still wearing watch garb at night to protect Hindu families. A total of 60 families reside in Babunagar, Mustafabad. 13 of these families are Hindu. When the outbreak of violence broke out, Muslim youth here formed separate teams and deployed to protect the temples.

In an interview to a channel, local Hindu residents said that we have lived here for 40 years. Standing up with each other during the good and bad days. Let us not disturb the atmosphere here because of any event. We know that the Muslim brothers are still standing to protect us.

Local Muslim residents say, "We have been guarding the houses of Hindus for five days. We are also protecting the temples."
