Madhya Pradesh: Speaker orders to appear before MPs who resign

Bhopal, Ta. March 12, 2020, Thursday

After Jyotiraditya Scindia left office of Congress and Madhya Pradesh Government, the state in the center of India has also become the center of Madhya Pradesh politics.

In Madhya Pradesh, the BJP is in a hurry to destroy the Congress and the government to sustain the government. Meanwhile, the Speaker of the Madhya Pradesh Assembly came into action today. Speaker NP Prajapati had given notice to 22 legislators of Congress who resigned.

The notice instructs these MLAs to appear before the Speaker. The speaker has asked that you all resign willingly to let someone know or come under pressure for some other reason.

Meanwhile, the BJP demanded that the floor test be conducted on March 16. So that it may be clear whether Kamal Nath's government can survive. On the other hand, Congress demands that floor tests should be done only after clarification on 22 members.

Congress recommends waiting until a decision on whether 22 members voluntarily resign. The Congress today also alleged that members of our Act were taken hostage and beaten up. 19 out of 22 members are reported to have been staying at the Karnataka resort.

Scindia is being criticized everywhere in the Congress. But Rahul is silent on this. Rahul tweeted that he had criticized the BJP, but did not say anything about Scindia. Today, however, Rahul had said that the BJP had avenged the party to intimidate Scindia. On the other hand, Scindia had arrived in Bhopal today after joining the BJP.

His supporters were greeted by a huge rally in Bhopal. Speaking at the meeting here, Sindhuya said that when the Congress challenged the leaders of the family of Sindhia, it had disastrous consequences. Even this time, Congress will suffer a catastrophic result. Scindia praised BJP leaders including Shivraj Singh, Narendra Modi in the speech.

Strategy to deny resignation

The Congress has adopted a strategy that does not make it clear whether the resigning members are with them. On behalf of the Congress, Randeep Surjewala had said that the MLAs should come before the Speaker and resign. Since the legislators are legally responsible to the speaker, the resignation should be made before them.

Until this resignation is accepted. That means those members will not be considered separate from the Congress. Meanwhile, the former chief minister of Madhya Pradesh and BJP leader Shivraj Singh had said that the Kamla Nath government has now come to the minority. Therefore, the assembly cannot be called.

FRI against Scindia!

An FRI was registered against Jyotiraditya in 2014. The complaint has now surfaced after six years of pressing files. The Kamal Nath government has launched an investigation into this old FRI immediately after taking a political stand. A complaint was filed against Scindia about the land being seized. However, the complaint was proved to be hollow. But now the government wants to re-examine the issue.

Force in the legislature

If the resignation of 22 members is approved, the number of MPs in the Madhya Pradesh Assembly will be 206. The party must then show 104 members to prove a majority. At present, BJP has 107 and Congress has 92 members. In addition, the Congress is considered to be accompanied by four independent, one from the Samajwadi Party and two from the Bahujan Samaj Party. Even the statistics are not enough.
