Kamal Nath VS Scindia resigns from a cabinet of 20 ministers in Madhya Pradesh

Cabinet will expand after ministers' resignation, try to save government by resigning angry legislators

In Madhya Pradesh, the Congress government is in crisis again. Following which, now the government of Kamal Nath can come into the minority at any time.

According to the present situation, there have been two divisions between Sindia and Kamal Nath in the Madhya Pradesh Congress. Following this, the Congress High Command has also run out and demanded a report on the entire matter from Kamal Nath. On the other hand, 20 ministers from the Kamal Nath government resigned overnight and have told Kamal Nath that they are with the government and can expand the cabinet as they wish.

When the Congress won in Madhya Pradesh in 2018, Jyotiraditya Scindia and Kamal Nath saw a pull of power, but Rahul Gandhi convinced Scindia and not only made Kamal Nath the Chief Minister, but also gave Kamal Nath the title of Congress president of the state. On the other hand, Sindia did not get any big deal. There are reports that Sindia was unable to win the Lok Sabha seat so she is currently going to Rajya Sabha.

Besides, they are trying to find a bigger position in the state. On the other hand, with the resignation of 20 ministers, a new cabinet could now be formed in which the angry legislators would be given a ministerial post, thus trying to save the Kamal Nath government.

There are reports that Sindhya has reached Bengaluru along with 17 of his supporters, and has also shut down his mobile. The legislators who are with them have also turned off their mobiles. Sonia Gandhi called Kamal Nath to Delhi to get information about the entire sequence of events.

On the other hand, there are reports that Scindia is also in touch with top BJP leaders Narendra Modi and Amit Shah. Kamal Nath went to meet Sonia Gandhi in Delhi and after Holi he was to return to Madhya Pradesh.

Of the 17 MLAs who support Sindhia, six are ministers in the present government of Madhya Pradesh. There are also reports that Scindia is not ready to believe at this time and has made up her mind. On the other hand, the BJP has also become active and is ready to form a government taking advantage of the controversy.

Scindia should have held the post of MP in Rajya Sabha, the post of President Athrava or Chief Minister in the state but could not do so so there are reports that he is currently preparing for a coup. On the other hand, the new cabinet which will be formed as 20 out of 28 ministers have resigned has the possibility of uprooting the rebel legislators.

Madhya Pradesh has 230 seats in the Legislative Assembly, with 228 lawmakers currently surviving the death of two. Of which, the Congress has 114 and 4 independents, two BSP MLAs, one SPLA, which got support from the Congress, so the Congress has 121 MLAs. So the BJP has 107 MLAs. The majority is 116.

On the other hand, the three Rajya Sabha seats in Madhya Pradesh, which are currently near Digvijay Singh, BJP leaders Prabhat Jha and Satyanarayana, are set to be completed on April 9.

In such a situation, Digvijay Singh is not ready to give his seat, while on the other hand Priyanka Gandhi may also be sent to Rajya Sabha through this meeting. In the midst of this situation, they are even more upset that Sindhia is unlikely to get a Rajya Sabha seat.
