Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen-Bangladesh terrorist hanged for murder of Hindu priest

Four people, linked to the banned Islamist terrorist organization Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen-Bangladesh (JMB) in Bangladesh, have been hanged in connection with the murder of a Hindu priest. All four terrorists were found guilty in the murder of Hindu priest Jaganeshwar Roy.

Anup Kumar, a judge of the Rajasthani Fast Track Tribunal, sentenced the four men to death by executing them in a rater of rarest contracts.

bdnews24 According to the judgment, three convicts - Jahangir Hussain alias Rajib, Alamgir Hussein and Ramjan Ali were present in the court at the time of the verdict. The fourth accused, Rajibul Islam, was not involved in the trial.

What is the matter

It is noteworthy that 50-year-old Jaganeshwar Roy was the chief Mahant of the temple of Saint Gauria in Sonapota village. On February 21, 2016, some gunmen brutally cut his throat and killed him mercilessly.

Wounds were also inflicted on his body with a sharp weapon. Meanwhile, his disciple Gopalachandra Roy was also shot.
