Indian government contacts Iran to expel Indians trapped in Tehran: Harshvardhan

While giving a statement on the corona virus in Rajya Sabha, Union Health Minister Harshvardhan said that 29 cases have been registered across the country. Reports from Indians from Wuhan, China, have come out negative. Indians should not go to China unless necessary. Travelers are being examined at 21 airports. 19 more labs will be created for investigation.

The Corona virus has been screening since January 18. Travelers from countries like China, Japan, Hong Kong, Nepal, Vietnam, Singapore, Thailand, Italy etc were already being screened. Now all the passengers coming from abroad are being screened. The export of N95 masks and other tools has been handled.

15 labs have been created for investigation. 19 more are being prepared. A call center is also being built for this. We are in touch with WHO for guidance and updates. The Indian government is in contact with Iran to bring out the Indians trapped in Iran's territory.
