Indian Army Major gave his life to rescue a domesticated dog

Shri Nagar, Ta. 1. March 2020 Sunday

The friendship between man and dog has been around for thousands of years, and there are even better examples of this.

However, there is debate around the case of a Major of the Indian Army in Kashmir sacrificing his life to protect his two pet dogs.

The fire broke out on Saturday night in the house of Major Ankit Budhraj, who lives in Baramulla district in Kashmir Valley and served in the Army's Signal Corps.

In an attempt to rescue the other dog, he was 90 percent stabbed and was killed on the spot.
