A total of Rs 446.52 crore was spent on Prime Minister Modi's foreign visits in the last five years, the External Affairs Ministry said today.

According to the data provided by the Minister, the highest expenditure was Rs 121.85 crore in 2015-16 and Rs 78.52 crore in 2016-17.

In 2017-18, Modi spent Rs 99.90 crore on foreign travel and in the next year 2018-19, the government spent Rs 100.02 crore for foreign travel.

According to information provided by the Minister, Rs 46.23 crore was spent on foreign travel to the Prime Minister in 2019-20.
