Delhi violence victim's youth escapes from police custody

23 Anshuman police, who spread rumors in Delhi violence, have escaped from a seizure and committed suicide. Four policemen, including an SI, have been suspended following the incident. Along with this a magisterial inquiry has been ordered.

According to media reports, rumors were rife in Delhi, including Ranjit Nagar, on the last Sunday of Anshuman, after which an atmosphere of rumor was created across Delhi.

Delhi Police took action following complaints from locals. Meanwhile, the young man was spotted carrying an open sword while examining CCTV footage. Delhi Police then arrested accused Anshuman on the basis of CCTV footage. Police filed an FIR under the Arms Act to spread the rumor against the accused. However, a sword was not recovered from the accused at the time of his arrest.

On Monday, a team of police left Anshuman under the watch of a constable and went to find the sword at Anshuman's house. The accused youth then saw the floor and climbed to the third floor of the building. He jumped from the third floor when police tried to apprehend the accused. In which he was seriously injured. The accused was undergoing treatment at a hospital where he died today.
