The last date for repayment of short-term crop loan is March 31, on which the government is allowed two per cent interest rate.

According to a tweet from the Union Ministry of Agriculture, the government has decided to extend the repayment period for all short-term crop loans taken by banks between March 1 and May 31, 2020.

Now farmers can repay the loan till May 31, 2020 at an interest of 4% per annum with no penal interest.
