When to take the Corona Test? : Medical Council Announces Guideline

Mumbai, Ta: 12

India's top health research body - Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has released some guidelines on which to test or not.

Individuals traveling to affected countries or those who have close contact with positive cases may be the primary victims of the disease. That is why not everyone needs to be tested for this disease.

Travelers visiting Korea's most infected countries such as Japan, Italy, and Iran should spend the first 14 days separating themselves from others for up to two weeks. If a complaint like fever, dry cough and difficulty in breathing is not seen in these 14 days, then they do not need to be tested.

If the infected country has not been visited, the person who comes in contact with the disease should first stay at home for two weeks. During this time, if any signs are seen, they need to be tested. If anyone needs a test, they should contact the prescribed hospital directly, but it is not advisable for them to contact another infected person.
