The Andhra Pradesh government wants NPR in the same format as 2010 in Bihar. For this, the Jagan Mohan Reddy government will pass a proposal in the current budget session and ask the central government to retain the NPR's 2010 format. Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy tweeted this information.

The Andhra Pradesh government of the YSR Congress has clarified its stand on NPR. It wants to implement NPR in the region in the 2010 format. The government believes that in the current format many minorities are experiencing insecurity. The budget session is underway in Andhra Pradesh and the government will pass a proposal in this session and demand the central government to retain the NPR's 2010 format.

In his tweet, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy said on Tuesday that minorities were feeling vulnerable due to some questions of the current format. We have decided after discussion with our party that we will demand from the Central Government that the new format be compliant with 2010. We will propose to the legislature for that.
