PM Modi today arrived in Varanasi for a one-day visit. PM Modi was welcomed by Governor Anandiben Patel and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at the Babatpur Airport.
PM Modi will leave here by car for the Jangwadi Math where thousands of people are present at the PM's reception. PM Modi will inaugurate and inaugurate hundreds of crores of different projects in Varanasi today and address a public meeting.
This is Modi's 22nd visit to Varanasi. During this tour, PM Modi will be attending the centenary celebrations of the ongoing Veerashaiva Mahakumbh in Varanasi. After that, PM Modi will unveil a 63-foot-tall statue of Pandit Dayal Upadhyay.
PM Modi will also give a green flag to Mahakal Express, which has three Jyotirlinga darshans.
