Three-storey building in Mohali in Punjab, many suspected of being burnt

Several people are suspected of being trapped under debris as a three-storey building collapsed in Punjab's Mohali district on Saturday. The accident occurred while the base of the building was being dug on the Khad-Landra road, police said. Work is underway to rescue those trapped in the trash.

According to police, the NDRF team has been called to the scene. Mohali SDM Himanshu Jain said two people have been rescued till now. A total of 6-7 people are suspected to have been buried in the garbage. NDRF and its partners are engaged in stock search and rescue operations.
