Three crashed, 3 killed, 120 injured when landing on a plane landing in Turkey

A plane crash landing in Turkey's capital Istanbul on Wednesday caused a serious accident when it slipped on the runway. Three of the aircraft were broken down and three passengers were killed. Government media said 120 passengers were seriously injured in the accident.

The plane arrived in Istanbul from the Aegean city of Izmir. Due to adverse weather at Sahiba Gokchen Airport, the aircraft slipped during the landing and the explosion caught fire inside the aircraft and it was broken into three pieces.

The passengers were shown on the television, with the passengers pulled out of the tail of the plane. The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The plane belonged to Pegasus, a so-called Turkish airlines. The aircraft had 177 passengers and six aircraft.

Initial reports claimed that no casualties were reported and that all passengers were out on their own. Later details of the three deaths and survivors were reported from the tail.
