Shaheenbagh mediators file report in Supreme Court, hearing on Wednesday

New delhi date. 24 February 2020, Monday

The interim appointed by the Supreme Court has filed its report today for the ongoing protest in Delhi's Shaheen Bagh for nearly two-and-a-half months. Now the Supreme Court will hear the matter next. Currently this report is kept confidential. No copy has been given to the applicants. Only the Supreme Court Judge will look at this report first.

After submitting the report to the Supreme Court-designated mediator Sadhana Ramchandra, he said, "We are delighted that you have given us this opportunity." This is a learning experience for us. Last week, the Supreme Court disqualified the closure of the road. Senior advocates Sanjay Hegde and Sadhana Ramachandran asked the protesters to speak. Lawyer failed to explain to protesters.
