Qatar Airways has dispatched emergency medical supplies to China's Beijing, Shanghai and Quangzhou from five major cargo planes. Not only does it include items such as masks and head sanitizers donated to China by Qatar Airways, but also items collected by Chinese embassies and missions abroad.
Following the outbreak of the Corona virus, Qatar Airways has opened a green channel for embassies and consulates in China around the world, sending free medical supplies to China.
Qatar Airways CEO Akbar al-Bakr praised China's efforts to fight the epidemic. He said China has provided information freely and transparently for the Corona virus as well as all countries and international organizations.
Chinese Ambassador to Qatar, Cho Chien, thanked Qatar Airways for their assistance to China. He thanked Qatar for its strong support to China. Which shows the friendship between the Chinese and the Qatar government.
