A petition has been filed in the Delhi High Court, accusing Congress party executive chairman Sonia Gandhi, MP Rahul Gandhi and party general secretary Priyanka Gandhi of delivering inflammatory speeches.
Apart from the aforementioned three leaders of the Congress, Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan, AIMIM leader Owaisi and heir Pathan have also been named in the petition.
The petition demanded that the High Court order the police to register a complaint against all these leaders. Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi made provocative speeches to oppose the CAA and called people off the streets. This led to violence in many places.
