Loka has given a jarring reply to actress Sonam Kapoor, who expressed her views on the shootings in the Shaheen Bagh area of New Delhi last week.
Sonam wrote on social media, I can't imagine anything like this could happen in this country. The current politics were encouraging divisive factors. This dangerous politics should be stopped. These people are spreading hatred. If you are a Hindu, think that anything is based on religion or karma.
People were offended by this tweet, and some people asked Sonam after presenting a photo with Sonam's father-in-law actor Anil Kapoor's notorious don Dawood Ibrahim asking that the picture be taken as if your father had a connection with Dawood Ibrahim or his religion. In response, Sonam wrote that my father had gone to see matches with Raj Kapoor and Krishna Kapoor. They were in a box. (Sonam did not reveal where Dawood Ibrahim came from in that box.)
Sonam also wrote that God forgives you. You are spreading violence. When you raise your finger to the other side, three fingers are still leaning towards you.
This is something that I would never imagined happen in India. Stop this divisive dangerous politics. It fuels HATE. If you believe you are a Hindu then understand that religion is about Karma and Dharma and this is not either of them. https://t.co/nAZcUX6p7o

@AsYouNotWish ji you raise your voice very intensely. Please tell the country that your father's picture with terrorist Dawood has to do with his karma or his religion? https://t.co/87lgaNQk6N
