Operation Farrukhabad: Police kidnap kidnapper, release 25 children


Subhash had enough ammunition for two days, including a gun, rifle, 25 cartridges, 25 hand grenades.

A Sunni man has taken 25 children hostage in his house in Farooqabad, Uttar Pradesh. The 40-year-old man, Subhash Batam, invited the children to organize a daughter's birthday party at his home. The children came home at six o'clock in the evening and were later taken hostage. However, the police had killed the hostage in a very planned manner and rescued the children.

The hostage Subhash's wife was also in the house but while the police action was underway, the parents of the children who were trying to escape from the house fell on her and lynched her with stones, she was later taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead. According to the housemates, Subhash, who was kidnapping the children, was charged with murder and released on bail.

The incident took place in Kasariya village here, on Thursday, Subhash called 25 children around his daughter's birthday party party, later gathered the children in the lower floor of the house and closed the doors. Subhash had a gun, a rifle, two dozen cartridges, two dozen domestic bombs, and he had planned to host the children for hours.

In the meantime he demanded to return his cases to the police, the police were ready, but later his wife demanded crores of rupees but was also willing to give up, he later called the MLA to talk to the local MLA but later they did not talk. Police finally broke the door of the house and entered. Meanwhile, Subhash injured two policemen who opened fire on the police.

Later, the police also shot Subhash in order to control the entire situation. Taking advantage of the shooting, Subhash's wife was about to flee. All children have been rescued safely. About 15 people, including police, were injured in the operation.
