The Madhya Pradesh government has announced that health workers who could not get a single male sterilization will not get paid and will be retired. However, after being surrounded by the issue, the Kamal Nath government withdrew the disputed order and replaced Chhvi Bhardwaj, the administrator of the National Health Campaign.

In fact, the National Health Campaign had directed the state health workers to have at least one member sterilized. At the same time, the government threatened that an employee who could not meet his target could be paid his salary and retired.

Following the overwhelming victory over the issue, the Kamal Nath government has finally withdrawn the order. In Madhya Pradesh, health department employees were ordered to undergo sterilization operation for five to 10 men during a month. At the same time, the state government had also threatened to retire employees who have not been able to meet the target in the previous order without having to pay salary on a no-work, no-pay basis.

However, after the dispute, the order has been withdrawn and in the meantime Chhavi Bhardwaj, the administrator of the National Health Campaign, has been informed that he has been made OSD at the secretariat.

Under the Family Planning Campaign, every year, a target of sterilization operation was given to 0.6% of the total population of the district in the region. In some districts, the target was met and the participation of men was very low so that the sixth Indian expressed his displeasure and wrote a letter to all the collectors, chief doctors, health department officials and directed them to target the employees. Former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan likened the order to Emergency Part-2.
