Kolkata, Ta. February 27, 2020, Friday

Kolkata's air was found to contain large amounts of carcinogenic particles. Research from the Bose Institute says that Kolkata's air becomes extremely toxic during winter and contains 94 nanograms of carcinogenic particles per cubic meter.

Cartilage Particles mix in the air from waste and plastic burning fumes, carbon emitted from vehicles and chemicals flowing from factories. The proportion was alarmingly high in Kolkata, the report said.

Debajyotti Rai of the Bose Institute said that his research showed that the presence of 17 types of dangerous particles appeared in Kolkata's air. When the sun is low, the air is moist and therefore its presence in the atmosphere is constant. Therefore, Kolkata's air becomes more toxic during winter and monsoon. This research paper was published in the International Journal.

The highest amount of pH, ie, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon particles emitted and dissolved in air when burning coal, diesel, etc. If the temperature is too high, the particles evaporate from the air, but in winter, the temperature stays in the air when the temperature is lower. If you breathe in, the chances of cancer are increased.
