Karnataka cabinet expanded, 10 new ministers sworn in

Bengaluru on February 6, 2020, Thursday

Yeddyurappa's Cabinet was expanded in Karnataka and ten ministers took oaths on Thursday morning.

However, today's expansion did not include CP Yogeshwar. Yeddyurappa himself recommended Yogeshwar's name to the BJP's Mowdy congregation. Most of those who have been given the title today are transformed.

The JDU and the Congress came to the BJP after defection. For the past several days, there has been talk of expansion of the Karnataka Council of Ministers, but this has not been implemented for one reason or another.

Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa also discussed the issue with Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

It was announced at that time that the cabinet would be expanded by returning to Yeddyurappa after attending a meeting held at the World Economic Forum's Dawas. In fact, Yeddyurappa announced the expansion before going to Davas. Since then, the Prime Minister's readers have started lobbying themselves.
