Kanpur: Anti-CAA rally triggers police dispersal tension

Muslim women, who have been protesting the new citizenship law in Kanpur city of Uttar Pradesh for the past one week, were reported to be in tension in Kanpur on Monday morning, February 10 when police moved by force.

The fact is that on Saturday, more than one hundred Muslim women were sitting there, even after the organizers announced that the new anti-citizenship law had been completed.

Police requested him to evacuate Muhammad Ali Park. The rally and dharna were going on at this Muhammad Ali Park in Chamanganj. Police dismissed the women sitting on the sidewalk Monday morning, stabbing them to some extent and kicking the woman out of the park. The women alleged that the police had beaten us while we were conducting peaceful demonstrations.

The Samajwadi Party alleged that the protesters threw stones at the police. It is worth remembering here that Director General of Police Ananta Dev warned the protesters on Friday that if you do not stop the demonstrations, then we will have to file a case of sedition against you and arrest you all. The organizers then announced the closure of the dam on Saturday. Even then some women were stubbornly sitting in Muhammad Ali Park.

Finally this morning, the police forcefully pulled the women out of Muhammad Ali Park. Now, women were using force and alleging that the police had been stoned to death. Meanwhile, the city was informed of a shortage.
