It was a pleasure to see Muslim women protesting! : Sumitra Mahajan

Former Lok Sabha Speaker and senior BJP leader Sumitra Mahajan said it was heartening to see such a large number of women protesting against the CAA and NRC. He also said that I really doubt whether these women are fully aware of the CAA and NRC laws.

Talking to reporters, Sumitra Mahajan said that if Delhi or Indore is getting a large number of Muslim women on the road and protesting, it is also a pleasure to see that in the future if there is injustice to Muslim women. They can resist it by getting off the road. At the same time I also want to know if really Muslim women are fully aware of this new law and NRC etc.

"I pray to God that Muslim women can make a big contribution to the development of this country," said Sumitra Mahajan. Some Muslim leaders are leaving the BJP because of CAA, Sumitra Mahajan said, "I think such Muslim leaders may be facing opposition from their society and because of their difficulty they are doing so." However, I am confident that such resigning Muslim leaders will be able to give true knowledge of the law to the people of their own society.

Sumitra Mahajan mentioned the performance of Muslim women in which they also praised the Muslim women of Shaheen Bagh without being named. Muslim women have been protesting against the CAA and NRC and now NPR in Delhi's Shaheen Bagh for two months. The women took to the streets on Sunday and took out the march. Similarly, in cities like Ahmedabad, Indore and Lucknow, women are organizing small dharms.
