Indian shot dead in grocery store in Los Angeles, USA

An Indian man has been shot dead in Los Angeles in the United States. According to local time, a gunman wearing a mask was shot dead by a gunman at a grocery store on Saturday morning. Last month, Maninder Singh, who finished 31, was the father of two children.

The Karnal resident came here six months ago and demanded political asylum. He was employed at Seven-Eleven grocery stores in downtown Los Angeles, California.

His family living in the United States said he was the only earning member of his family and sent money home for his wife and children. According to police, the incident happened around 5.43am on Saturday morning.

In the preliminary investigation, the murder is believed to have been committed with the intent to rob. According to police, Maninder Singh was shot dead by a semi-automatic gunman with intent to rob.

Police have released a photo of the suspected attacker, saying that for unknown reasons the suspected assailant shot and killed the clerk. The assailants managed to flee the scene.

According to police, two customers were also present at the store at the time of the incident. And both customers were also injured. The suspected assailant is believed to be black and adult. The height is estimated to be five feet seven inches.

The attacker partially covered his face. The victim's brother has set up a GoFund page to raise funds to send the deceased to India. His brother wrote on the GoFund page that he left behind his parents, wife and two children. The children are five and nine years old. I ask for his help in sending his body to India. So that his wife and children can see his face for the last time.
