Easy Return of GST from 1st April

Ahmedabad, Dist. February 1, 2020, Saturday

The Finance Minister, Nirmala Sitaram, today announced the implementation of a simple return for Goods and Services Tax from April 1, 2020, in the Parliament.

An easy return trial is currently underway. As a result, it can be easily implemented. This return can also be filed using SMS. The provision for filing this return will be made before the scheduled time.

Automatic return filing arrangements have also been made without human intervention. This return will also help to eliminate dummy traders or companies that do not exist. The refund system has been simplified with this return system.

Under this system, an active QR code is proposed to be billed by the merchant. The information about GST rules will be provided only when the Goods and Services Tax is deposited with the help of this QR code.

At the same time, the finance minister is also planning to introduce a cash prize practice to encourage consumers to bill for every purchase. He directed this during the budget he presented today. As soon as the invoice is uploaded, the e-mail on the input tax credit will be received.

A centralized location with the use of technology is being planned to keep important information together. The system will be implemented in the next two months.
