Delhi Violence: In four days, people have made 13,200 calls, police are sitting

New delhi date. Saturday 29th February 2020

During the violence that lasted three to four days from the night of February 24 in Ishaan Delhi, people phoned 13,000 buses to the police but shocking information that the police ignored has now come to light.

It is to be noted here that Delhi High Court Judge S Muralidhar, who was transferred to the Punjab and Haryana High Court, also strongly criticized the inaction of the police.

It was now revealed that thousands of calls were made to the police control room between February 23 and February 26, but for no apparent reason, the police did not take immediate action.

A TV news channel claimed that our reporters visited two police stations and received details of phonecalls that were being sought by the public. They were shocked to learn that there were 3500 calls on the 24th, compared to 800 calls in 23rd. Again there were 7,500 calls on the 25th. But the police were sitting on their hands and Delhi was on fire.

The phonecalls register did not fill in any details about the steps to be taken after the phone arrived. That is, despite thousands of phone calls, the police did not take any immediate action.

Even after the massacre of the Sikhs after the assassination of Prime Minister Indira Gandhi on October 31, 1984, the police remained idle.
