Committee talks with women of Shaheen Bagh failed

New delhi date. February 21, 2020, Friday

For more than two months, women have been protesting the CAA, NRC, NPR in Shaheen Bagh. The women are sitting here on the patio. A committee was sent to negotiate between the positions, though after three days of negotiations, the committee has returned.

On the other hand, there have been reports that the dialogue between the committee and the agitators did not produce any disapproval, which has led to the return of this committee. Demonstrators demand that CAA, NRC, NPR etc. not be implemented.

Earlier, women of Shaheen Bagh had tried to meet Amit Shah but could not be found because they were not allowed. The whole matter has also reached the Supreme Court where there have been claims that the road has been blocked at the place where the women are sitting for the demonstration.

Later, a committee formed under the supervision of the Supreme Court tried to convince these women. On Friday when lawyer Sadhana Ramchandran reached here and asked why you blocked the road, the women replied that we had done so for self defense. The committee returned after answering such questions, meaning that no dispute has yet been resolved and the protests are on.
