CBI court reveals Rakesh Asthana's wrong clinch case

New delhi date. February 28, 2020, Friday

The CBI had cleared the agency's former Special Director Rakesh Astharathana in a bribe case. However, allegations are now being made that the CBI has been cleared of sufficient evidence to prove that Rakesh Ashrathana had taken bribe.

While a trial was underway in a special CBI court in Delhi, a dispute broke out between former investigating officer Ajay Kumar Bassi and current investigating officer Satish Dagar in the Rakesh Astarthi case, during which Bassi made the allegations.

While the arguments were underway, current investigating officer Satish Dagar alleged that Bassi was removed from the post of investigating officer as the investigation was biased at that time.

Responding to the allegations, Bassi said that the current investigating officer Satish Dagar had made up his mind to give Rancash Ashrathana a clinch. There was ample evidence against the unrest, however Satish Dagar did not confiscate Rakesh Astarthana's phone and other electric evidence etc. during the investigation and completed the investigation.

On Friday, the court was told that Rakesh had been given a clinchite despite sufficient evidence against the unrest. It is noteworthy that Astharathana was recently given a clinchit, after which the CBI court also borrowed the agency and said that the big names involved in the case are now openly running.

The CBI court had also questioned why the Life Detector Test for the malady was not done. And now there have been allegations that he has been cleared of racket despite evidence that Rakesh Astharathan had taken bribe.

Hyderabad businessman Satish Sana was accused by Rakesh Astarthna of allegations that he had taken bribe and demanded that Rakesh Astrathana be released. However, both the then CBI directors Alok Verma and Rakesh Ashratha came to the fore after this and a CBI case was raised against the CBI.
