Bhopal Railway Station tragedy: 7 injured due to falling footbridge ladder

A major mishap occurred on Thursday on platform number 2-3 of the Bhopal Railway Station. The shade of the descending ramp fell from the overbridge. With the weight of the shed a small portion of the ramp fell on the passengers sitting on the platform.

Some passengers have been injured due to the shade and part of the ramp. The injured have been rushed to the hospital immediately.

Following the incident, passengers at the train station were terrified. All this happened at such a fast pace that the people sitting down didn't even get a chance to go far.

On reaching the Railway officials, they reached the scene of the incident.

According to railway officials, seven passengers are suspected to be injured. According to sources, the number of injured may increase.
