Bhanshali gave Shantanu Maheshwari the next film

Alia Bhatt is working in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming film 'Gangubai Kathiawadi'. This film has been signed by Shantanu Maheshwari, the star of the film. In this film he will play a young man named Afsan.

Bhanshali was looking for a new face which has been auditioned by Shantanu. Shantanu will start shooting soon. However, it has not been officially announced yet.

Shantanu started his career with V-channel dance drama, heartfelt friendship and dance. He was subsequently seen on an MTV show. He also participated in the sneak peek at the show. Also, Nach was in Bali with his girlfriend as a competitor.

The film 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' is based on the film 'Madam' of Kamathipura. He was forced into prostitution at an early age. The film is set to release in September.
