Sri Lankan PM Mahindra Rajapakse, who visited India, arrived today to visit Baba Vishwanath Temple in Kashi.
Where he also performed the rites in the presence of the priests. All roads from the airport to the temple were sealed to protect Sri Lankan PM.
From the temple, Rajapaksa was given a gift of Angavastram, Rudraksh's garland and a photo of Baba Vishwanath. As well as incineration was given in the packet.
In the afternoon, Rajapaksa will visit Sarnath, a Buddhist pilgrimage. Where they will receive blessings from Buddhist monks and also visit the mythological museum of Sarnathan.
