Article 370 would not have been abolished if Congress had followed the old traditions: PM Modi

If PM Modi got up to speak during the budget session of Parliament, the tussle started from the opposition. Prime Minister Narendra Modi responded to the debate over the President's speech in the Lok Sabha on a proposal of thanks, a reply that began with a debate between Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury and PM Modi. - If we had followed the old fashioned way of Congress, the decision on Article 370 would not have been made. Issues that have been hanging around for decades would not have been resolved.

- Our government is working out of leaks. We are completing development tasks at a very rapid pace. Now the speed and skill of the work has also increased.

- Decision to remove Article 370 from Kashmir is historic. He said that if you followed your ideas, Article 370 would not have been removed.

- Also raised the issue of canceling triple talaq. He said that if we had followed the path of the Congress, the triple talaq sword would still be hanging on the Muslim women.

- The Prime Minister also raised the issue of the Ram temple in the Lok Sabha. Had we followed the old fashion, the decades-old issue of the Ram temple would not have been resolved.

- PM also made a statement on the ongoing protest in Shaheen Bagh. He said that experiments were also conducted before. Experiments are still taking place today.

- The Prime Minister also targeted Congress on the excuse of compromise with Bodo extremists. He said that earlier on paper only agreement was reached.
