20 killed in train-bus accident in Sukkur, Karachi

Twenty people were reported killed in a train bus accident in the Sukkur area of ​​Pakistan's commercial capital, Karachi.

The bus collided with a train on the tracks in a hurry of the driver of an unmanned gate crossing and a serious accident. The dead included women and children. The accident site was located 500 km away from Karachi.

A government spokeswoman said the death toll is likely to be high given the casualties of some passengers. The bus was heading from Karachi to Sargodha. The official said some of the dead were crushed in such a way that it was difficult to identify them.

There are many such unmanned gates in Pakistan and some serious accidents have happened in the past. But some people said that the eyes of the authorities did not open.
