New delhi date. 15. Wednesday, January 2020

Vinay Sharma, one of the four accused in Nirbhaya Kand, wept after his curator petition was rejected by the Supreme Court.

On Tuesday, he met with his father at Tihar Jailor's office. The visit was arranged at his insistence.

According to jail sources, Vinay Sharma was the most upset after the curatorial petition was rejected. All four criminals were upset after hearing this on TV. None of the perpetrators have confessed to the crime. They do not feel that they have any remorse for their crime. Jail sources said that they would soon be hanged and shifted to the nearest Jail No. 3.

Jail sources say, all the guilty come to visit their family members. Meanwhile, as part of a dying attempt to escape the death penalty, Mukesh, a convict, has handed over his mercy petition to the prison system. Only the President can say when a decision will be taken on this. However, the criminals have until January 21 to plead mercy. If mercy application is rejected under these circumstances, they are less likely to be given 14 days again.
