Vandalism in Kerala Assembly against Governor

Kochi Ta-29 Jan 2020, Wednesday

The ongoing tension between the state government and the Kerala governor against the CAA and the NRC does not name the end. An example of this was seen on Wednesday morning.

From today, the Kerala Assembly budget meeting began. CAA and anti-NRC slogans were launched soon after Governor Arif Muhammad Khan entered the legislature to address the Legislative Assembly.

As the governor was on his way to the forum, United Democratic Front lawmakers shouted go-go slogans trying to stop him. Legislative marshals moved the legislators away and cleared the governor's path.

Today, when the Governor is about to speak about the state government's policy, it will be interesting to see what the state government can say about the resolution passed against the CAA and the NRC.

If the Governor does not mention this resolution in his speech, the State Government may request the President to call this Governor back.
