UP is the first state to grant citizenship to 32,000 refugees under the CAA

As part of the implementation of the CAA, the UP government has sent a list of refugees living in the state to the Center. The list includes refugees from 19 districts.

UP has become the first state to send the list. The list includes refugees from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan. To whom the government will grant citizenship.

The number of such refugees goes up to 32000. In the first phase, the list has been identified and sent to the government.

The UP government has said that these refugees belong to Hindu, Buddhist, Sikh, Christianity. Who have been living in UP for some time. Now that the CAA has been implemented, it will grant them citizenship.

The government said the figure could still rise. The list that was sent is the first one. Other refugees are being registered.
