The police officer, identified as 'Singham', opened fire on his wife

Punjab Police have charged DSP Atul Soni, who is known as Singham, for his attempt to murder his wife.

According to media reports, Atul Soni and his wife, Sunita, had a quarrel over a talk at a disco in Chandigarh on Saturday night and clashed between the two.

After that, he went to his house in Mohali. After leaving the house, Atul Soni had beaten and shot at his wife. However, his son was in the middle and the bullet did not hit his wife. Police have launched an investigation into the matter.

However, this officer, known as Singham, has already been in dispute. He was arrested in 2012 at Delhi airport with 46 karasut.

Atul Sony remains in the debate because of fitness. He has spent hours in the gym and because of his style of work, he is nicknamed Singham. He has also appeared in Punjabi films.
