The American Embassy Hijack was planted in 1979, the seeds of hostility to the US and Iran

The enmity between Iran and the US was wiped out in 1979. Earlier there was a friendship between Iran and the United States.

At that time there was a monarchy in Iran. Shah left Iran and went to Egypt. When Shah's opponent returned to Iran after 14 years of exile Khomeini.

Meanwhile, Shah, who is seeking asylum in Egypt, traveled to Egypt from Egypt to seek treatment for cancer. Protesters in Khomeini protested outside the American Embassy in protest against the US granting asylum to Shah.

On November 4, 1979, thousands of students entered the embassy and a total of 90 people were taken hostage, along with 66 American staffers. They demanded that the US take Shah Mohammed Raza and hand them over to Iran. Later, Khomeini ordered women and African-American Americans to leave.

Tensions have escalated between the two countries. The United States closed the US-based embassy in Iran and ordered Iranian citizens working in the embassy to leave the US.

The negotiations lasted for a period of one year. The United States, meanwhile, seized US-based assets in Iran. Shah Mohammed Raza Pahlavi left the United States for Panama.

The United States also attempted a military attack to free the hostages.

Iran demanded that the US release the seized Iranian assets to free the hostages. After a lengthy dialogue between the two countries, an agreement on the release of wealth was signed.

Finally, on January 20, 1981, 52 people who were taken hostage in the embassy were freed.
