Tarapur Chemicals Company Near Palghar Explosion: Eight Dead

Tarapur MIDC near Palghar A fierce explosion broke out this evening at a chemicals company. The magnitude of the explosion was so great that Locke experienced an earthquake of 15 km.

Eight people were killed and seven others were found dead in the blast. The owner of the company is seriously injured. The injured have been admitted to the nearby Dunga Hospital for treatment.

According to information received, a huge explosion occurred at 7.30 pm in a private company called Tara Nitrate in M-2 plot in MIDC, Tarapur. At that time, employees were working in the company.

Due to the explosion, some part of the company's building was broken down and the company was found to have suffered heavy damage. Two or three factories were engulfed in flames from the blast.

It was found that the work of producing your nitrate company started two days ago. Upon receiving information of the explosion, three fire engines and five water tankers of the fire brigade were rushed to the scene and the fire control has been carried out on the basis of war. Not only that, 9 to 10 ambulances were also brought to the scene of the disaster.
