New delhi date. January 21, 2020, Tuesday

The dharna exhibition has been going on for the past one month with the CAA and NRC in Shaheen Bagh in Delhi. Every day, women sit here and put their demands before the government. However, it is being claimed that Shaheen Bagh and other protesters have now announced the ban of India on January 29, due to lack of proper response from the government.

On the other hand, the Supreme Court has also made M144 petitions in support and opposition of the CAA, which the Supreme Court will hear on Wednesday. CAA opponents have called the law unconstitutional and religiously discriminatory, while supporters have called it patriotic and for the benefit of refugees.

A bench of Chief Justice SA Bobde, Judge Abdul Nazir and Judge Sanjeev Khanna will hear the various petitions. Of the 144 petitions filed in the Supreme Court, 141 have been contrary to this law while only 4 have been filed in support. The matter is likely to be settled by the Supreme Court on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the women sitting in Shaheen Bagh have sent a legal notice to Amit Malviya, the head of BJP IT Cell, alleging that Amit Malviya has viralized a video of false accusations against Shaheen Bagh's women. It is alleged that the women of Shaheen Bagh came to the demonstration with money. However, there is no definite evidence for these allegations and the above claims are false.

This has prompted the women to threaten to sue Amit Malviya over the video and the claim, and the legal notice has recently been issued to present his answer. Information about this was provided by the lawyers of the protesting women and other protesters.

On the other hand, there are reports that Shaheen Bagh and other demonstrators have announced the closure of India in protest against the CAA on May 29. However, Delhi's Deputy Governor Shaheen Ban had arrived and appealed to the people to stop the demonstration which had no effect. A delegation appealed to the Deputy Governor to withdraw the CAA.
