Veteran economist and BJP MP Subramanian Swamy blatantly opposed the central government's decision to sell Air India as an anti-national move.
"If the central government goes ahead in this direction, I will challenge the deal in court," he said.
The central government has officially announced the sale to Air India and has also issued a preliminary information memorandum.
Swami said that the reasons why Air India made such a huge loss should be taken and corrective measures should be taken and once again Air India should be floated. Selling it would be a step towards trying to cover up its failure. This is an anti-national move and I am openly opposed to it.
