Mumbai, Ta. December 31, 2019, Tuesday

Salman Khan's last 'Dabangg-2' did not get business at the box office due to protests by CAA and NRC across the country. Yet the actor has emerged as the star of this decade. According to the box office analysis, Salman started this decade with 'Veer' and 'Dabangg' in Year 7. In the meantime, he worked in three films.

The five cinemas hit the box office at Rs 1 crore in total. And it is believed that the figure will soon cross Rs 1 crore. This directly means that he made an average of Rs 10 crore per film. From his movies, 'Tiger Zinda Hai' and 'Sultan' are all-time blockbusters, seven blockbusters and four hits.

Only three of his films did business below average. Analysts say that because of his success, he is not the only superstar of this decade, written by the likes of Bulkeemitabh Bachchan and Rajesh Khanna. He further said that given that only three films have done less business than expected in 5 years, it can be clearly said that he has no competitor at the Indian box office.
