A festival which is not associated with any religion, caste or region but is celebrated together with the whole of Hindustan.

The symbol of the unity and integrity of India that the world sees.

This year's Republican day's chief guest is Brazilian President Jer Bolsonaro.

For the third time in the Republic Day, the President of Brazil has arrived as the Chief Guest.

Previously in 1996 and 2004, the President of Brazil has also been a guest on Republic Day of India.

This time during the Republic Day ceremony, Narendra Modi paid tribute to the Jawans by going to the National War Memorial.

National War Memorial lists the names of those who died in the war for the country.

This was the first occasion when a tribute to the martyrs was given at the National War Memorial instead of Amar Jawan Jyoti.

In 1973, the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi started the tradition of paying homage to Amar Jawan Jyoti Soldiers at India Gate.

Which lasted for years. Amar Jawan Jyoti was prepared for martyrdom in the 1971 war in Pakistan.
