Orisa: More than 40 injured in train accident in Katak following fog

A fierce accident took place when a Mumbai-Bhubaneswar train collided with a freight train in the Cuttack area of ​​Orissa on Thursday morning. 40 passengers were badly injured in the accident.

The injured were admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment. The Nargundi railway station near Cuttack was hit by a freight train on the same track on the Mumbai-Bhubaneswar Lokmanya Tilak Train.

The collision was so severe that the seven bins of the Mumbai Bhubaneswar train got off the tracks. Five of the seven bins were off the track completely, while the other two halved.

Railway officials had closed the entire area from the premises so as not to overwhelm the Navara people and prevent the relief work from happening.
