Opposition to CAA split, Mamata says I will fight single-handedly

Calcutta, 9th January 2020, Thursday

Opposition to the CAA and the NRC has now been divided.

West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress leader Mamata Banerjee has decided not to attend a meeting convened in Delhi by 13 parties in this regard.

Mamata had said that the Left is playing dirty politics in West Bengal. Because of his attitude, I will now single-handedly fight the CAA, the NRC.

Mamatanu says that Congress and Left are promoting violent politics in West Bengal. Such protests should not be allowed in West Bengal. The left parties want to gain fame by doing such demonstrations. Since they cannot perform such demonstrations in Delhi, they are spreading violence in Bengal. Police will take action if there is violence.

It is worth mentioning that during the bandh Alan on Wednesday, there were violent clashes between the Trinamool Congress and Left Party workers in West Bengal. Which makes Mamata angry. He has now decided to distance himself from the other parties.
